Hilary’s parents have been battling it out in divorce court for several months now, and yesterday’s events top it off. Us Magazine reports that Hilary’s father Bob was ordered to go to jail for ten days because he violated an injunction against selling assets without the court’s permission. Bob was also ordered to pay $12,500 to fund Hilary’s 21st birthday party — seems outrageous, but it was actually only half of what Hil’s mother requested.
Poor Hilary (and her sister Haylie, if you’re a Haylie Duff fan…). At least she can console herself with her AWESOME clothes. (SEGUE!) Check Hil wearing awesome (totally wearable) Gwen Stefani shirt!

Yes, she’s wearing a Harajuku Lovers shirt (Harajuku Lovers is a sub-brand of Gwen’s L.A.M.B.), and sporting a GORJ Marc Jacobs bag. Even though I don’t sport leather, I can appreciate DAMN hot fashion. She always looks awesome. LOVE!
So, moral of the story? As Billy Crystal’s character on Saturday Night Live, Fernando Lamas, famously said: “It’s better to LOOK GOOD than to FEEL GOOD.”
